How to apply for API credentials and get started as a partner.
Becoming a Partner
Access to the TaskNation API requires partner approval. This ensures quality integrations and protects our marketplace ecosystem.
Step 1: Submit Your Application
Click the "Request Access" button on the developer portal homepage. You'll need to provide:
- Company name and website
- Integration type (Supply-side or Demand-side)
- Brief description of your planned integration
- Estimated API call volume
- Technical contact email
Step 2: Review & Approval
Our partnerships team reviews applications within 3-5 business days. Once approved, you'll receive:
- Client ID and Client Secret for OAuth 2.0
- Access to the staging environment
- A dedicated partner success manager
Step 3: Development & Testing
Use the staging environment to build and test your integration. Staging uses sandbox data and won't affect real users or businesses.
Step 4: Go Live
Once your integration passes our review checklist, we'll enable production access and provide production credentials.
Important
Never expose your Client Secret in client-side code. All OAuth token exchanges must happen server-to-server.
