Background Checks
Every pro on TaskNation undergoes a comprehensive background check that includes:
- Criminal history — National and county-level criminal records search
- Sex offender registry — National sex offender registry check
- Identity verification — SSN trace and address history
- Terrorism watchlist — OFAC and other federal watchlists
What disqualifies a pro?
- Felony convictions (violent crimes, theft, fraud)
- Sex offenses
- Active warrants
- Identity fraud
Background checks are conducted by a third-party FCRA-compliant screening provider and are renewed annually.
