Pro Verification Process
Every professional on TaskNation goes through a rigorous verification process before they can accept jobs:
- Identity verification — Government-issued ID check
- Background check — Comprehensive criminal background screening
- License verification — For regulated trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.), we verify active professional licenses
- Insurance verification — Pros must carry minimum liability insurance coverage
- W-9/Tax compliance — Pros complete tax certification as required by law
Ongoing monitoring
Verification isn't a one-time event. We continuously monitor pros for:
- License expirations or revocations
- Insurance lapses
- Customer complaints and safety reports
- Review patterns indicating quality issues
